About

Too long in my life I have drifted without clarifying a stance on issues to myself or others. I was never pushed in this regard and was able to avoid situations where I might be. As a result, I find myself solidifying a lot of my opinions on issues recently. This website is an extension of that evolution.

Technology is amazing. At no time in human history has knowledge been more accessible, yet it seems understanding remains as elusive as ever.

Too often I read an article that raises an issue I feel is important on one day, only to have it replaced by a new article that raises a different issue the next. Keeping up with the barrage of stories and their authenticity from around the world can be overwhelming.

This site is a collection of information that I have found enlightening, infuriating, uplifting, humorous and/or important. I feel that by collecting the information, I have a better chance of categorizing and processing it.

I hope that this will lend itself to a better awareness of both the world around me and the influence I and others have on it. Ideally by gaining a better awareness and understanding, I will become more proactive as opposed to reactive.

Therefore, this site is dedicated towards accumulating these articles for my own personal benefit and review. I am also hoping to become more vocal and clear in the viewpoints and beliefs I have, thus this site may serve as a sounding board for others to make their agreements/disagreements hear. I look forward to sharing with friends, family and others that may find something enlightening, entertaining or informative about what is posted on this site.

I also realize this may become nothing more than an online scrapbook of collected articles and ideas that only I find interesting. I am okay with that.

If you have found your way to this site, I encourage you to take some time to look around and feel free to comment on anything that catches your eye.
